Lovely Hua Shop - Review

Recently got to know of Lovely Hua Shop, they are one of the cheapest flower delivery shops in Singapore! Service and delivery is prompt, so if u are looking to deliver flowers to that special someone today, look no further.

Floral Box Series

Got this Red Roses Floral Box (S$36.90) from Lovely Hua Shop as a birthday present for mum.

And it was really beautiful; mum liked it and took many photos with it.

I guess flowers would brighten any girl, or auntie's day!

Also, Lovely Hua Shop offers a complimentary message card with a personal message for your loved ones, and they clip it onto the flowers like this.

Just in case u are wondering how it looks beyond the front view of the floral box.

Everlasting/Dried Flowers Series

Also got this Rosy - Dried Flowers (S$38.90). Since I was gonna go on a staycation, having some flowers to take photos with would be a nice touch!

I love purple and these everlasting Statice Flowers would stay with me forever! Also would be useful if I need some pretty flowers to style any photos in future!

Thanks so much Lovely Hua Shop!

They now also offer dried flowers for the Floral Box Series, so if u find it a pity to have fresh flowers wither and having to throw it away, u could opt for the dried flowers too!

San Agustin Church and Taal Volcano

Had the chance to visit the oldest church in the Philippines, San Agustin Church on one Sunday by myself. Turns out that the first Sunday in December every year is the Grand Marian Procession, where people will gather around the "Wall of Churches" in Intramuros, Manila, from afternoon till night and that really affected how I was going to get a cab to leave the place.

Well, I didn't know about all that and happily visited the San Agustin Church by myself. Alas, found out that some couple was also holding their wedding ceremony that day and I couldn't enter the main hall. Not an issue though, as I witnessed one of the most beautiful wedding scenes in my life from the top of the church hall. So all's good! So now, let the pictures do the talking!

Main hall. There was an on-going wedding and I only managed to get this picture before being turned away

Yea tombstones

Waiting for the bride....

Just look at the train of the gown! So gorgeous!

On another occasion, we also made it a point to visit one of the world's smallest active volcanoes: Taal Volcano.

Before going to the Volcano, we needed to go through a short lesson with the staff. Then it was a 20min boat ride to the island. As usual for Volcano attractions, they would offer the option of self trekking or horseback riding. Obviously in that kind of weather, we chose the horseback riding that takes us about 30min to the top.

This was the view that greeted us at the top. Honestly, having been to large volcanoes like Mount Bromo or Kawah Ijen, the view here couldn't really compare.

However, because Taal Volcano is special: The crater lake on Volcano Island here is the largest lake on an island in a lake on an island in the world. It was worth visiting since I was there!

Because the view from the free spots weren't magnificent enough, we had to pay an additional fee to go up another route that promises a better view. Had to climb up a narrow path here. If u accidentally trip and fall to the sides here u would tumble off the cliff and hit the rocks beneath.

Well, it was true, managed to get some nicer photos here since there are no barricades here. But it was scary shit to be sitting at the edge.

So that's all for my Manila adventures!

Sudio FEM Review

Have always been relying on my wired earpieces since the beginning of time. But ever since the wireless earphone trend started, I have been wanting a pair for my own.

That's because it is no fun when I have to fumble with my wired ones and try to untangle them when there is a need to use them.

Working from home has also become a norm and online meetings are a large part of my job. Which means, I will need some good earphones.

Insert Sudio FEM.

Not only do they offer my favourite pastel colour choices, they are also pretty functional!

- Real Clear Voice: 4 environmental noise-canceling microphones
- IPX 5 (splash/rain/sweat proof)
- Touch control
- Individual automatic pairing
- Total 20h of playtime, 6h in a single charge
- Weighs 5.5 g per earbud
- USB-C charging

Review

Listening to music on my laptop or phone has been a breeze. Sound was crisp and clear, although I could hear the bass more clearly than usual.

Taking online calls on my laptop was also good, but the voices got a bit distorted when I was taking online calls via mobile phone.

Aesthetics wise, I have no complains about the case and how pretty the colour is. The touch and feel felt pretty good too, although it might be a little too heavy or bulky for some users. Lucky there are 5 different sizes of earbuds enclosed so u should be able to fit these inside your ears easily!

They have a range of other earphones for different types of consumers, so do check out their website https://sudio.com and decide which works best for u!

Good News!
